Paul Shergold

Paul is a Level 3 British Triathlon Federation Coach who coaches athletes from novice to elite level as well as age groupers.  He is also an Amateur Swimming Association Level 2 Swim Teacher and Coach.

As a BTF Mentor he is engaged in mentoring athletes and coaches.

Coaching people new to the sport is his greatest pleasure.  He has had success with athletes representing Great Britain at the world championships at the junior level through to the over 70’s age groupers. His athletes have made considerable gains performing above expectations at races.

Involved in triathlon since 1985, in his formative years he won a number of events. He has taken part in numerous endurance events such as cycling the length of the Suez Canal, he has the competed the Three Peaks challenge and has recently swam in the River Dart 10km.

Stewart Towler

Stewart is a Level 3 British Triathlon Federation Coach and a distinguished graduate of the new British Triathlon High Performance Coach programme. He has 30 years of competing at a national level in triathlon, bike racing and ultrarunning, over 12 years of coaching athletes to achieve their best and internationally recognised as a business leader.

His coaching style is distinctive in that it brings simplicity and an intelligent methodical approach to athlete development. Importantly considering all aspects of the physical, mental and skill needed, whilst recognising the athlete within us is an important part of our wider lives.

Stewart delivers his best coaching when the challenge or goal is most difficult to achieve, summed up with a simple moto “the solution may not be known today but there is always an answer”.

Frances Palmer

Frances has a BSc (Hons) Strength and Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Sports Massage. She is a Level 2 British Triathlon Federation Coach and aspires to gain her Level 3 qualification. She is also studying for her Masters.

She is a GB Age grouper who be raced in the world Championships in 2019. She continues to strive for GB Age Group qualification and hopes to represent in the 2021 season.

Having been involved in developing Junior Triathlon Clubs in the South West and Wales she enjoys the challenges brought about by coaching juniors.

She has gained a wide range of experiences over the 5 years she has been coaching and is looking forward to being involved in training camps, dedicated sessions and the delivery of the open water swim sessions.   

Juliette Dickinson

Juliette has a background in leisure, having spent 35 years working in the industry. Now qualified as a Level 2 Swim England Teacher and STA Level 2 Open Water Swim Coach and currently studying to become a Complete Personal Trainer and Level 4 Exercise Specialist, incorporating an Advanced Diploma in Nutrition and Weight Management. Juliette has particular interest in swimming and swim/run and has undertaken a number of long distance swim events and challenges. Passionate about helping people achieve their sporting goals, particularly those starting their multisport journey.
