Pool Swim Sessions

Weekly coached swim sessions, while Wellington Pool is being refurbished we will be based at Wellington School pool (returning in August 2024) based at wellington sports centre Somerset, aimed at improving technique and fitness in a fun and motivating environment.

We now book the whole pool so there is space.

We operate within the guidelines issued by British Triathlon and Swim England

Whether you are wanting to develop your stroke, get fit or train for an event these sessions are for you. Designed for all providing you can get to the end of the lane we have a lane allocation system that suits all standards.  With none of the stresses of training in public lane swimming (busy, lack of pool etiquette and mixed abilities).  You progress will be monitored by the coach with regular time trails and assessments.

SESSION INCLUDES:

• 1 Hour group training session
•Structured and organised session for all abilities
• Technique work
• Speed and endurance training
• Lanes of similar ability
• Regular assessment and analysis

You must prebook by emailing:

info@the triathlontrainingteam.co.uk

You will be sent details on how to book.

Paul asked me to write a couple of words as a testimonial: BLOODY BRILLIANT

- John

From having a fear of the water and unable to swim I am now swimming 400 meters in just over 9 minutes and working towards joining the next group.  Paul said just keep turning up and he would get me there.  He has definitely kept up his end of the bargain

Dawn

I couldn't believe that I could knock significant time of my swim.  But I have. Not only that but Paul and his team have held my hand "literally sometimes" as I have moved to open water swimming. With a lake swim 2 km of 38 minutes I am looking forward to perfecting my skills to improve.  They say I can go quicker while being efficient I wont make the mistake of not believing them.  More importantly for me it has improved my out look on life. Chimp, what chimp!
